Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of voicedraw (the "Service"), operated by VoiceDraw Labs ("VoiceDraw Labs", "we", "us", or "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in India. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

voicedraw is a browser-based motion graphics and video editor. You can create, edit, and export animated compositions, optionally assisted by AI features you configure yourself (see Section 5). The Service is currently in a closed beta: features, availability, and pricing may change, and we may need to take the Service down for maintenance without advance notice.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account (via Firebase Authentication). You're responsible for keeping that account secure and for all activity under it. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use the Service. We may suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, misuses the Service, or poses a security risk to us or other users.

3. Your Content

You retain all ownership rights in the projects, media, and other content you create, upload, or generate through the Service ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership over it. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service (for example, rendering your compositions, storing your project files, and generating export files) — nothing more.

You're responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use any media you import (footage, images, audio, fonts). Don't upload or generate content that infringes someone else's rights, is unlawful, or violates Section 6 below.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Certain features (exporting or downloading a rendered result) require an active paid subscription, currently a flat $5/month with no tiers, billed and processed by Razorpay. We don't store your full payment card details — Razorpay handles that directly.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access to paid features continues until then. Our refund terms are set out separately in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

During the closed beta, some or all subscription requirements may be waived for allowlisted testers at our discretion; this doesn't create any ongoing entitlement once the beta ends.

5. AI Features (Bring Your Own Agent)

voicedraw does not provide an AI model and does not bill you for AI use. You connect your own agent — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or any other MCP client — and it operates the editor on your behalf through our connection relay. Your use of that agent, and anything its provider bills you, is between you and them; voicedraw is not a party to that relationship. You are responsible for what an agent you connect does to your projects; every change it makes is applied in your own session, is visible in the editor as it happens, and can be undone.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to create content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical protection or usage limit in the Service;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or content;
• Use the Service to abuse, overload, or extract data from any third-party service (including an AI provider) beyond normal use;
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate — currently Google/Firebase (authentication), Razorpay (payment processing), an S3-compatible object storage provider (media and project storage), and, only if you configure it, an AI provider of your choice. We aren't responsible for outages, changes, or data handling by these providers beyond what our own agreements with them require.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — its software, design, branding, and underlying technology — is owned by VoiceDraw Labs or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or source code beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular render, export, or AI-generated result will meet your expectations. Back up work you can't afford to lose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoiceDraw Labs won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose, or $50, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or any feature) with reasonable notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, especially during the current beta period as the product evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
