Privacy Policy
Last updated July 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information VoiceDraw Labs ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use voicedraw (the "Service"), how we use it, and who we share it with. It's written to reflect what the Service actually does, not generic boilerplate — if something here looks wrong or you have questions, email us (Section 8).
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google/Firebase Authentication. We don't receive your Google password.
Your content. The projects, compositions, and media (video, images, audio, fonts) you create or upload, stored so you can access and edit them across sessions.
Billing information. If you subscribe, Razorpay processes your payment and shares with us only what's needed to manage your subscription (subscription status, renewal dates) — not your full card number.
AI connection token. If you connect your own AI agent, we store a random pairing token that routes that agent to your editor tab. It is not an AI provider credential and cannot be used to read your account or bill anything (see Section 3).
Usage and device data. Basic technical data needed to operate the Service — things like error logs and request metadata (IP address, browser type, timestamps) — for debugging and abuse prevention. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Preferences (like UI layout and settings) are stored in your browser's local storage, not a tracking cookie.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the Service: authenticate you, store and render your projects, process payments, and provide support;
- To operate the agent connection you choose to enable, by routing your own AI agent’s requests to the editor tab you have open;
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues;
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, or material changes to the Service;
- To improve the Service — we don't sell your personal information or Your Content to anyone.
3. AI Features: Where Your Data Actually Goes
voicedraw does not run AI for you and does not hold an AI provider key. Instead you connect your own agent — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or any other MCP client — and it drives the editor through our connection relay. What that agent reads from your project, and what it sends to whichever model it uses, is governed bythat client's and that model provider's own privacy policy and data-use terms, not ours. Our relay passes tool calls to your editor tab and results back; we do not store your prompts or your agent's conversation, and we do not use your project content to train any model.
4. Who We Share Information With
We share information only with the service providers who help us run voicedraw, and only to the extent needed for them to do that:
- Google / Firebase — authentication;
- Razorpay — payment processing and subscription billing;
- an S3-compatible object storage provider — storing your project files and media;
- the AI provider you configure (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google), only when you actively use an AI feature.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of VoiceDraw Labs, our users, or the public.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account information and Your Content for as long as your account is active, so you can keep using the Service. If you delete your account, we delete your account information and Your Content within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (for example, billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.
6. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete Your Content directly within the Service at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — for example, to request a copy of it or ask us to delete it — under applicable law. To exercise these, email us (Section 8) and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — for example, encrypting stored AI provider credentials and using industry-standard providers for authentication and payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
voicedraw isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves, especially during the current beta period. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
